UTA CFO Advisory Services is a boutique advisory firm for

  • Businesses lacking the maturity or size to employ an experienced, high caliber Chief Financial Officer

Having a permanent or highly experienced CFO is not practical in many such businesses.  We offer a service to fill this void in a cost effective manner.  Unlike a number of "virtual CFO firms" we know what it's like to be a high functioning CFO within such businesses having successfully done the job for well over a decade.  We truly understand the definition of real value in the CFO function and provide services reflecting this.

  • 9+ years within assurance and advisory practices of Big 4 Accounting Firms

  • 12+ years as Chief Financial Officer across multiple businesses

  • Experienced Chief Financial Officer of publicly listed, private, private equity owned, family owned and international businesses

  • Intimate working knowledge of a number of technology businesses including satellite communications, software (SAAS) and fintech

  • Significant transactional experience with mergers & acquisitions, equity capital markets and capital raising transactions of ~$400 million

  • 12+ years as a Director and Company Secretary

  • Current member of Australian Institute of Company Directors and formerly a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
